FAQs
Below are answers to some of our commonly heard questions. If you have any questions not answered here, please get in touch!
How are Voyage et Cie candles made?
Our organic and sustainable soy wax candles are hand poured in California, and contain the finest fragrance oils. For your peace of mind, we only use non toxic 100% cotton wicks. Due to weather conditions, sometimes a slight slippage from the glass occurs. It is not damaged and will disappear after a while of burning.
Our candles are 100% Vegetable: Coconut, Beeswax, Apricot Oil, Soy
How do I care for my candle?
The first time you burn your Voyage et Cie candle, allow it to burn for at least two hours, until the whole top is liquid with wax. This will help your candle burn more evenly the next time.
Trim the Wick: Before lighting your Voyage et Cie candle, trim the wick to 1/4-inch length. By shortening the wick you allow it to burn more slowly and also avoid unsightly black smoke marks around the edge of the glass.
Realign the Wick: After blowing out your candle, re-center and straighten the wick.
I have a multiple wick candle and I want it to last. Can I burn one wick at a time?
No, all wicks must burn simultaneously to have an even burn.
How long do the candles burn?

Safety Guidelines
Never leave a lit candle unattended. This could be a fire risk.
Always place your candle on a level, heat resistant, nonflammable surface away from fabric or drapes.
Choose an area free from drafts to avoid uneven burning.
Do not place your candle on a marble or glass surface. If the bottom of the hot candle glass comes in contact with a cold material, the glass may crack.
Make sure children and pets cannot reach burning candles. Do not place lit candles where they can be knocked over by children, pets or anyone else.
Never touch or move a candle while it is burning or while the wax is liquefied.
Place burning candles at least three inches apart from one another. This is to make sure they don’t melt one another, or create their own drafts that will cause the candles to burn improperly.
WHY DOES MY CANDLE HAVE BUBBLES IN IT?
When the wax dries, depending on the temperature of the room it will pull away from the glass and create these "bubbles". However, once the candle is lit they will go away once the glass heats up again.
I THINK MY CANDLE WAS DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING?
Oh no! On the rare occasion that our shipments are placed upside down our larger candles can "slip" out leaving a waxy residue on the sides of the candle. If this happens, please contact our team and follow the 4 steps listed out below of our return policy.
What are your shipping timeframes?
You can expect your order within 1-14 days of shipping depending on the day it is shipped and your location.

In order to maintain high hygiene standards, we cannot accept returns on our parfum products, or any face or body products that have been opened.
